Malcolm Alexander, chief executive 

Malcolm leads LGNZ's governance, relationship with its stakeholders and strategy and policy development.  Operationally, Malcolm leads the day-to-day work of the organisation, human resources management and leadership, and financial management.

Kate Macnaught, policy manager

Kate leads LGNZ's policy team which provides advice on issues relevant to the sector and advocates to central government on behalf of the sector.  The team works across a range of specialist areas from governance and the environment to regulation and development and infrastructure.  Kate's role focuses on the utilisation of resources within the policy team and increasing the coordination across the policy programme to achieve enhanced organisational delivery and strategic planning.
